I am going to up my estimate on Cubs purchase price to 1.25 Billion. There are just too many internet billionaires and Chicago Fund managers putting groups together. Should be a fun process to watch.
I recently saw Jeff Immelt Chariman and CEO of GE speak in Chicago. He talked about the abundance of venture capital money in the marketplace and how people are just looking for any kind of decent idea to invest in. Might push your Cubs number up even further.
