You gotta love ESPN reporting they try to be so witty. On field reporter Erin Andrews at the Alamo Bowl just said. "we'll be right back where Penn State will face A&M in a virutual road game." Virutal road game, it is the Alamo Bowl in friggin San Antonio. It's not the Groundhog Bowl in Puxatony, Pa. San Antonio is 1653 miles from State College and 169 miles from College Station. It is an actual road game.

T.O. is locker room cancer and he has the audacity to speak out about Jessica Simpson being in the stands affected Romo's performance. Talk about the pot and the kettle. Tony Romo had a bad game because he is not a great quarterback and he hurt his hand.
T.O. leave the man alone, we know that you are just jealous because the only white girls you can get are hardcore football fans and they probably have the same size rack as Jessica, but they weigh at least 250.

Come on Roger

Today the big new broke 7 time CY Young winner Roger Clemens has been implicated in the steroids probe. The report includes many accusations against Roger including direct accounts of the man that shot him up. I hope living in that huge house in Houston is enough, because one place he will not be is Cooperstown. I don't think any of the steroid era players will get in. They way we will know it's true is that I bet Roger does not file a lawsuit against this accuser for defamation, because the truth is an absolute defense.

Today Bobby Petrino returned to the ranks of the underpaid college coach. Oops I mean overpaid college coaches. Bobby stick it out for more than 13 games. Nobody blames you for the mess the owner made by trusting that piece of shit Marcus Vick. Don't drop the soap Mike or you might find out the prison version of a "rape stand" is the towel bar. But back to Bobby, you turned a college basketball school into the best football team in the Big East. The Falcons can't be that hard to turn around. I might be a overweight guy who never made the most of his opportunites or had the most focus, but I never was never a quiter, you Bobby are a quiter. That personal trait runs deep have fun razorbacks you got a quiter.

Bowl Time

Indiana is the good feeling story of the bowl season. With a underrated QB and a Wide Receiver that will be playing on Sundays in the future. Throw in heart wrenching story about the coach dieing and you get bowl magic. Coach Hep recreated IU Football. It was no easy task. The only thing that was easy was that The General was not on campus to steal the thunder.

Mr. Warmth

Tonight HBO had a great special on about Don Rickles. He is an amazing entertainer. It's a shame that in today's world all the comedians and entertainers can't carry his jock strap. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Rickles one night at Gibson's Steakhouse in Chicago. I sent a round of drinks to his table (it was expensed to Enterprise). He called me over to his table and thanked me and I told him that Kelly's Heroes was my favorite movie. I was expecting him to insult me, but he said thanks.

Kelly's Heroes plays a prominent role in the show. I believe that it is the best World War II movie out there. You can watch it a million times and it never gets old. Try to say that with Saving Private Ryan or even the great Guns From Navarone. Even Gregory Peck gets a little old.
